What happens at Woodland Stay & Play?

Every session is an adventure! Your child can:

• Engage in a variety of themed play activities
 • Collect sticks, stones, and leaves
 • Build, create, and explore
 • Cook up wonderful creations in our mud kitchen – stirring, pouring, mixing, and serving muddy soups, leaf salads, stone cakes and lots more 
 • Listen to stories, sing songs, and enjoy calm woodland moments

There’s no rush and no right way to play – children are free to follow their curiosity.

What should we bring along?

Accepted Answer

We love all weather, so please come dressed to get messy:

• Warm layers or cool clothes depending on the day
 • Waterproofs and wellies
 • Spare clothes (mud happens!)
 • A snack and drink for your 	child (please ensure all adult hot drinks are in a sealed thermos 	flask for safety reasons)

Who can come and how much does it cost?

Accepted Answer

Our group is for confident walkers to children up to the age of 7, with a parent or carer alongside them. Younger siblings are very welcome too.

Tickets for sessions are priced as follows:

1 child & 1 adult £10 (this ticket includes 1 babes in arms free of charge)
Additional Children £8
Additional adult £2

Why are the sessions outdoors?

Being in the woods helps little ones:

• Grow strong bodies and confident minds
 • Use their imagination and 	creativity
 • Learn about nature through hands-on play
 • Feel calm, curious, and connected

Rain, shine, wind, or frost – the woods always have something exciting to offer!

What are your rules?

We only have a few:

• Grown-ups stay close and 	support their child
 • We’re kind to each other and gentle with nature
 • We take only memories (and muddy clothes!) home
